I received the Archangel Power Tarot Cards for my birthday last week, and I assure you that not only is this deck beautifully and clearly illustrated--it also delivers accurate, specific readings, and can be mixed with cards from other Angel decks and oracle cards for deeper meaning if desired.At first, I was not completely on board about the use of certain colors for the minor arcana (I was especially concerned about the orange and pink cards, which I worried would not "fit" with the rest of the deck), but I was pleasantly surprised at just how useful the suit colors are. The colors boost intuition subtly, helping the reader to carry the narrative of any tarot card spread.The Major Arcana cards consist of 22 numbered cards which are similar in meaning to those established by Arthur Edward Waite, but the names of certain cards have been changed to reflect a "gentle" presentation, one I happen to believe is actually a more modern, 21st-century understanding of the cards that are changed.Also in the Major Arcana, Justice is the 8th card and Strength is the 11th. This is opposite of what you find in Waite's deck, which remains a largely unexplained innovation concocted in the early 1900s; prior to that, the traditional arrangement was as it is in this deck, and as such one might consider it a correction.Each card in the Major Arcana is overseen by one of fifteen archangels. Some of these angels necessarily preside over more than one card.Only three of the archangels in this deck are mentioned in the canonical scriptures, while others have appeared in apocryphal or extracanonical texts.Each of the four suits is named after an archangel: Michael, Raphael, Gabriel, and Ariel.Their standards make up the backs of the cards: Michael's standard bears a sword, Raphael's a caduceus, Gabriel's crossed trumpets, and Ariel's a tree.The cards themselves are made of a good stock with a glossy finish and gold gilt edges all around. They are beautiful. There are also meanings printed beneath the art to help you during your readings, which is convenient whether you are new to tarot or well versed--but for the first week or so, I recommend referencing the more detailed meanings for each card, as found in the beautiful guidebook that comes with this deck as it will expand your options in interpretation and will help you to remember the additional meanings without having to reference the guidebook.This is an excellent deck and one I highly recommend.
I have read tarot for years and have numerous decks. Some I love and some just gather dust. I purchased Archangel Power Tarot a few years back when I was at a metaphysical store and this deck literally fell off the shelf at my feet. Overall these are my go to cards for reading not just for myself but for others as well. These are gentle cards with none of the "scary" images that are associated with tarot. The messages contain the same meaning as original tarot but in a broader way. Get past the negative reviews on the artwork. The Rider-Waite deck has some pretty blah art work but has been around for decades.

Disappointing artwork. It feels more like an affirmation oracle rather than a Tarot deck. I will not be keeping this deck, but do know someone to gift it to who is in need of positive affirmations at the moment
These cards are stunning to look at and I feel a strong connection with them, however, I just have to use some oil on my hands to separate the cards. The gold edges stuck together and it was not easy to get apart. If not for that I would give 5 stars. Overall I do think this will become my go-to deck.
This is my first deck with 78 cards and I love it. The artwork is fantastic. The messages are detailed and the energy is magical. They have a gold lining around each card and they cards aren't stiff or too soft that they will reap. Thank you for this.
