The guide is divided into various sections, with only half of it actually showcasing the various cards.The sections are "guide to..." the disciplines, ... the clans, deck construction, strategy & tactics, and then the cards themselves.The various guides are a good introduction but don't really offer up much if you've been playing for awhile.The "Visual Card Encyclopedia," (the card list) is nice overall, but I do have a few gripes:First, the cards a very small (4x4 to a page), and although readable, will quickly give you a headache if your near vision isn't the best.Secondly, some cards were left out. Not many, but I would have preferred having every card left in with a mention of not current/usable, etc. vs outright omitted. One card that comes to mind as I write this being "Maria Stone" only listed as a Antitribu Gangrel and leaving out the Ahrimanes version. And a few of the cards lack alternate pictures.Otherwise, this is a perfect (and physically solid) book for those looking for an introduction to strategy and deck types, and the rest who just would like a visual card list.
